SPI Health and Safety has announced a strategic partnership with Intervention Prevention, aiming to bolster workplace safety across various industries.

Founded in 1998, Intervention Prevention specializes in occupational health and safety consulting, implementation, training, and research.

This collaboration is set to expand the range of health and safety services available to employers and workers. Key offerings from the partnership include protective equipment, consulting services, and training programs on critical safety topics such as confined spaces, electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures, machine safety, and working at heights.

The partnership promises several benefits:

  • A comprehensive suite of protective equipment, consulting services, and training programs.
  • A larger team of experienced health and safety experts.
  • Advanced technological tools, including a transactional website for purchasing protective equipment, mobile applications for incident management, interactive online training, and automated reporting.

Kim Levesque, President of SPI Health and Safety, emphasized the shared values between the two companies.

“Our purpose remains the same: to put people’s well-being first. We see in Intervention Prevention a culture similar to our own, which makes this association a natural fit,” Levesque said.

Pascal Poisson, President of Intervention Prevention, highlighted the longstanding collaboration between the two companies.

“We’ve been working with SPI for several years. This partnership complements our offering well, and we are convinced that our customers will benefit from it,” Poisson noted.

Despite the partnership, both companies will continue to operate as separate entities, with no changes expected for their customers and suppliers.
