PausePoint, a new app designed to help professionals prioritize mindfulness and well-being, has officially launched. The app aims to integrate intentional breaks into users’ daily schedules, addressing the common issue of burnout among modern workers.

PausePoint syncs with users’ calendars, allowing them to schedule breaks of 5, 10, or 15 minutes, once or twice daily, from Monday to Friday. This feature is designed to help individuals rejuvenate and refocus during their workday.

Felisa Wiley, founder and CEO of PausePoint, was inspired to create the app during a wellness workshop.

“The insistence on discussing the need for breaks, rather than directly integrating them into the day’s schedule, led me to envision a solution that could seamlessly incorporate mindfulness into our calendars,” Wiley said. “This moment of insight laid the groundwork for PausePoint, bridging the gap between the need for wellness and the potential for technology to facilitate it effortlessly.”

PausePoint offers two versions: a free Basic version that schedules bi-weekly breaks, and a Premium version that includes monthly break planning, weekly well-being tracking, participation in mindfulness challenges, a referral program, and additional features like multi-calendar integration and a community forum.

The app joins the ranks of other popular meditation and mindfulness apps such as Calm, Headspace, and Insight Timer, but with a unique focus on intentional break scheduling to help users reclaim their energy and time.

PausePoint’s mission is to make mindfulness an effortless part of everyday life, enabling professionals to maintain a healthier work-life balance.
