Paylocity, a provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, is teaming up with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to support mental health initiatives during the SHRM Annual Conference & Expo 2024 in Chicago.

This collaboration will involve the assembly of mental wellness kits by Paylocity volunteers and conference attendees, aimed at providing practical tools for managing stress and promoting emotional well-being, it said.

The wellness kits will include items such as stress relievers, fidget spinners, and journals. These tools are designed to help individuals manage stress, improve focus, and provide comfort for those struggling with mental health challenges. The assembled kits will be distributed to various NAMI affiliates throughout the Chicagoland area.

“Paylocity recognizes mental health’s profound impact on individuals, their loved ones, and their communities. With 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 6 children between 6 and 17 facing mental health challenges each year, we understand the need to champion mental health initiatives. Through our work with NAMI, we strive to make a difference in the lives of people dealing with mental illness. We’re proud to join together to raise awareness and support those in need,” said Aisha Thompkins, Paylocity’s director of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and corporate social responsibility.
