Tecsys Inc., a prominent player in supply chain management solutions, has been awarded the Great Place to Work Certification for 2024, covering its operations in Canada, the United States, and Denmark. The certification, conferred by Great Place to Work, a leading authority on workplace culture and employee experience, highlights Tecsys’ commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.

The accolade is based on comprehensive feedback from Tecsys’ employees, with an impressive 89% affirming that the company is a great place to work. This figure surpasses the US national average by 32%. Employees also expressed pride in their workplace, with 90% stating they are proud to work at Tecsys, and 89% feeling that people genuinely care about each other. Additionally, 88% felt they could be their authentic selves at work, and 85% believed they make a meaningful impact at the company.

“Great Place to Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work. She noted that the certification is based entirely on employee feedback regarding their company culture, underscoring Tecsys’ outstanding workplace environment.

Nancy Cloutier, Chief Human Resources Officer at Tecsys, echoed this sentiment. “Our people are at the core of what we do: the software we build, the professional services we deliver, the customer care we provide. This certification is a testament to the collective dedication and engagement of our entire team, and we believe it is a reflection of our supportive and inclusive culture,” she said.

Tecsys’ approach includes competitive benefits and flexible work arrangements. Employees can choose to work remotely, in a hybrid mode, or from the company’s headquarters in Montreal or Copenhagen. Co-working spaces in the Greater Toronto Area and Chicago are also available.

The environment at Tecsys contributes to its employee retention, with an average tenure exceeding eight years. Nearly 10% of the workforce has been with the company for over 25 years. The company’s focus on holistic well-being and inclusivity has helped it maintain a strong and dedicated team.

Great Place to Work research indicates that job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great manager at a certified great workplace. Employees in these environments are 93% more likely to look forward to work and are twice as likely to feel fairly compensated and have equitable opportunities for promotion.
