Worldline North America has been certified as a Great Place to Work for the fourth consecutive year, reflecting positive employee feedback and ongoing initiatives aimed at workplace diversity and sustainability.
The certification, awarded by the Great Place to Work Institute, is based on anonymous employee surveys conducted in Canada and the United States, assessing factors such as trust in leadership, pride in jobs, and workplace camaraderie.
Justin Passalaqua, CEO of Worldline North America, said the recognition underscores the company’s commitment to its workforce.
“Achieving the ‘Great Place to Work’ certification for the fourth consecutive year is an honour that reflects our collective team efforts and shared values,” Passalaqua said. “This industry is nothing if not complex and dynamic, so it’s imperative that we do everything we can to support our hardworking teams.”
Worldline employees benefit from competitive perks, including RRSP matching, comprehensive employer-paid health and dental coverage, parental leave top-up, and a lifestyle spending account. The company’s Victoria team recently relocated to a LEED Platinum-certified building, recognized for high energy efficiency, reduced water usage, and improved occupant wellbeing.
“These factors align with Worldline’s corporate social responsibility goals and environmentally conscious approach to doing business,” said Claire Gayton, head of operations at Worldline North America.
The company has also prioritized diversity, focusing on promoting women and minorities into leadership roles.
“Celebrating the contributions of women and minorities is not just about representation; it’s about leveraging their unique perspectives to drive innovation and success,” Gayton said.
Nancy Fonseca, senior vice-president of Great Place to Work Canada, highlighted the correlation between strong workplace cultures and organizational performance.
“Our data shows that great workplaces benefit from reduced turnover and better customer satisfaction than their peers,” Fonseca said. “Work environments with trust at the foundation are ripe for innovation, agility, resilience, and efficiency.”
Worldline employs more than 150 people across Canada and the United States, offering payment and transactional solutions to over one million businesses worldwide.
