YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, a Montréal-based charity supporting job seekers, entrepreneurs, and artists, has announced the permanent appointment of Marina Boulos-Winton as its executive director.
Boulos-Winton, who served as acting executive director since June 2024, assumes the role as the organization celebrates its 30th anniversary. Her leadership is expected to guide YES through this milestone year and beyond, with a focus on addressing the evolving needs of Quebec’s English-speaking community.
“Marina stepped into the role of acting executive director and has since demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and expertise in nonprofit management,” said Bonnie Robinson, president of YES’s board of directors. “This permanent appointment ensures stability and seamless operations as YES moves forward into an exciting new chapter.”
Founded in 1995, YES has supported more than 66,000 Quebecers in achieving their career and business goals. The organization provides services such as career counselling, business coaching, workshops, and networking events, delivering over 17,000 services annually. Last year, it helped more than 900 job seekers and supported nearly 600 businesses in their launch or growth.
Under Boulos-Winton’s leadership, YES plans to expand its programming and partnerships to better support economic growth and community prosperity across Québec. The organization aims to enhance its impact on English-speaking communities through initiatives tailored to empower individuals, strengthen businesses, and promote resilience.
YES Employment + Entrepreneurship has long been a cornerstone for Quebecers seeking English-language resources to build careers and businesses. Boulos-Winton’s appointment is seen as a move to ensure its continued relevance and success in fostering economic opportunities across the province.
