Avetta’s AskAva, an AI-powered risk management assistant, has been recognized as the New Product of the Year in the AI category by Occupational Health & Safety magazine. The accolade highlights AskAva’s role in improving workplace safety and contractor compliance within global supply chains.

Unveiled earlier this year, AskAva integrates generative AI to assist companies in identifying and mitigating risks associated with high-risk tasks, such as transporting hazardous materials or working at heights. The tool is designed to help companies streamline compliance efforts and enhance safety protocols across their supply chains. According to Avetta, the AI system enables contractors to conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) more efficiently by quickly identifying and documenting hazards.

Taylor Allis, Chief Product Officer at Avetta, emphasized the product’s role in promoting safety across the supply chain. “AskAva is a one-of-a-kind solution that delivers personalized safety recommendations across the entire supply chain,” Allis said. “We are honoured to be recognized by Occupational Health & Safety for our efforts to enhance and augment workplace safety.”

Avetta’s Connect platform, which includes AskAva, serves as a comprehensive supply chain risk management solution, supporting various sectors such as construction, energy, and manufacturing. The platform is utilized by global organizations to automate contractor compliance and educate suppliers on safety best practices.

The Occupational Health & Safety New Products of the Year Awards spotlight advancements in workplace safety products, with winners selected for their impact on enhancing safety and compliance. The full list of 2024 award recipients is available through Occupational Health & Safety.
