Venterra Realty has been recognized as one of the 2024 Best Workplaces in Ontario by Great Place to Work Canada, the organization announced Friday.
The list, determined through employee feedback collected via the Great Place to Work Trust Index Survey, highlights companies with the highest scores among certified organizations headquartered in Ontario.
Venterra’s CEO, John Foresi, attributed the recognition to the company’s team-driven culture. “Our team members exemplify our Core Values every day,” he said. “We are honoured and humbled by their feedback, which consistently speaks highly of our workplace culture. But the truth is, it is our colleagues’ united efforts that have created an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.”
Andrew Stewart, Venterra’s chairman, said the recognition reflects the strength of the company’s culture on both sides of the border. “While the Best Workplaces in Ontario list reflects our Canadian team’s responses, we take pride in the positive sentiment that echoes among our colleagues in the United States,” he said.
Venterra, a developer, owner, and operator of multifamily apartment communities across 21 major U.S. cities, has previously received multiple awards from the Great Place to Work Institute, including recognition as one of the 2024 Best Workplaces in Canada and Best Workplaces for Women.
To qualify for the Ontario list, organizations must be Great Place to Work-Certified and achieve high employee survey scores, according to Great Place to Work Canada.
Great Place to Work produces a range of workplace rankings annually, based on data collected from Canadian employees across various industries. The organization also compiles workplace rankings for global and regional lists, including those published by The Globe and Mail in Canada and Fortune magazine in the U.S.
