The Euro Cup’s excitement can also influence office dynamics, potentially boosting morale but also impacting productivity. Employers can mitigate these effects by setting up designated areas where staff can watch matches during breaks or planning fun staff events around key games. This approach can help maintain productivity while allowing employees to enjoy the tournament.

Furthermore, the passion for soccer can sometimes lead to tension among staff members. Peninsula Canada recommends fostering an inclusive workplace culture that respects all employees, regardless of their team allegiance.

“Reinforce anti-discrimination policies and provide training on respectful behavior,” it said.
