Kitco Metals Inc. has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Canada, ranking number 43 on the 2024 Best Workplaces in Canada List. This acknowledgment will be featured in a Special National Report in The Globe and Mail on April 26, 2024.

Bart Kitner, President of Kitco Metals, attributes this recognition to the company’s commitment to fostering a positive work environment. “Great ideas may be the starting point, but it’s an exceptional team that brings them to life and keeps them viable,” Kitner said.

Carmela Tutino, Human Resource Director at Kitco Metals, echoed this sentiment. “We are incredibly honored to receive this accreditation as number 43 in Best Workplaces, as it is a reflection of the dedication and passion of our employees, whose combined efforts shape our positive and supportive workplace culture,” Tutino stated.

The Best Workplaces in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute and is based on employee feedback from over 900 companies across various industries. The rankings reflect the extent to which employees share a positive workplace experience. Nancy Fonseca, Senior Vice President of Client Services at Great Place to Work, highlighted the competitive nature of the recognition, stating, “The only way to be recognized is to invest in an exceptional employee experience, and have this focus permeate every part of the organization.”

Kitco Metals, founded in Montreal in 1977 by Bart Kitner, is a global leader in the precious metals industry, offering a wide range of products including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and rhodium. The company is known for its innovative approach, being the first in the industry to operate online and provide real-time market information.

Great Place to Work is a global research and consulting firm that aims to build high-performance workplace cultures. It produces the Best Workplaces lists in over 50 countries, including the annual flagship list of 100 Best Companies published in Fortune magazine.
