Lisa Raff named chief HR officer at MissionSquare Retirement

MissionSquare Retirement has appointed Lisa Raff as its Chief Human Resources Officer, the Washington, D.C.-based organization announced. Raff will oversee the company’s human resources team, focusing on areas such as leadership development, talent acquisition, total rewards, and diversity and inclusion.

Andre Robinson, president and CEO of MissionSquare Retirement, said Raff’s expertise will strengthen the organization’s human capital strategy. “Our most important resource is our people, and I look forward to Lisa’s leadership in helping us build high-performing teams,” he said.

Raff joins the Washington, D.C.-based firm with extensive experience in senior human resources roles. Most recently, she served as vice president of human resources at Voya Financial, where she supported the Workplace Solutions division and helped drive organizational change and employee engagement. Before that, she held HR leadership positions at The Hanover Insurance Group and The Hartford Financial Services Group, where her work included enhancing operational efficiency and market share growth.

Raff holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Connecticut.

Founded in 1972, MissionSquare Retirement specializes in retirement plans and financial education for public service employees, managing more than $80 billion in assets as of October 31, 2024.
