The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia has appointed Mary Anne Campbell as general counsel, effective January 2026.
Campbell joins the WCB’s executive leadership team from the Nova Scotia Health Authority, where she served as associate general counsel. In that role, she provided strategic legal advice to senior and executive leadership.
Campbell’s career includes previous roles with Stewart McKelvey and Bell Aliant.
She earned her law degree at the University of New Brunswick and was called to the bar in 2004. She recently completed her Master of Laws at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.
