“We are deeply honoured to receive the 2024 Excellence in Equity – Industry Impact Award in the Diversity and Inclusion Solution category for our Naglieri General Ability Tests,” said John Clarke, CEO of MHS. “This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to fairness, equity and inclusivity in education. As we continue to expand our offerings in the gifted and talented space, we remain dedicated to providing innovative and inclusive tools that recognise and nurture the potential of every student. I would also like to congratulate Drs. Naglieri, Brulles and Lansdowne for their outstanding contributions to the field of gifted education.”
According to MHS, the Naglieri General Ability Tests were designed to remove cultural influences and reduce the amount of formal knowledge required. The company said students can solve problems without relying on a particular language or set of learned skills, allowing educators to identify gifted students from diverse backgrounds. MHS reported that its tests are used in 35 states and provinces throughout the United States and Canada.
MHS said it has more than 40 years of experience developing solutions to measure and develop people’s potential. The company provides assessments intended to support neurological, educational and workplace needs, with a focus on fairness, equity and bias reduction.
