Wagepoint has launched a refreshed brand identity as the Calgary-based payroll software provider enters what it calls its next phase of growth.

The company, which has served more than 30,000 small businesses and 1,800 accounting and bookkeeping professionals since its 2012 founding, said the updated visual identity reflects its evolution while maintaining its reputation as a user-friendly solution for small and medium-sized businesses.

The brand refresh comes as Wagepoint plans significant expansion in 2026. The company currently employs more than 170 people across Canada and intends to add more than 45 remote positions nationwide this year.

“In my first six months leading Wagepoint, the impact our team has on the Canadian small business ecosystem was immediately clear—and we knew our brand needed to reflect the strength of what we’re building,” Ben Richmond, the company’s CEO, said in a statement.

Richmond said the company will share additional announcements in coming months as it continues its growth trajectory.

Wagepoint’s platform offers features including auto-calculated pay runs, automatic tax remittances to the Canada Revenue Agency, employee self-service portals, and reporting capabilities. The platform is CRA compliant, SOC 2 certified, FINTRAC compliant, and integrates with QuickBooks Online, Xero and FreshBooks.

The company said it will roll out new product enhancements in the coming months designed to help small businesses and advisors save time and reduce complexity.
