Arabella Advisors has appointed Barbara Spitzer as its new chief people officer, effective December 4, 2024. Spitzer will oversee the company’s People Team, with responsibilities ranging from employee engagement to equity and talent development, as the firm seeks to strengthen its workplace culture and align its HR strategy with its philanthropic mission.
“Barbara is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in human resources and a passion for creating environments where employees can thrive,” said Himesh Bhise, president and CEO of Arabella Advisors. Bhise added that Spitzer’s background in professional services and the social sector would help the firm develop strategies to attract and retain talent.

Spitzer brings decades of experience in HR and consulting to the role. She founded Two Rivers Partners, a consulting firm focused on nonprofits and small businesses, and previously held leadership roles at Accenture, Capgemini/EY, and Willis Towers Watson. At Accenture, she led key practices, including the Global HR Transformation Practice.
