The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) has announced that four new members are joining its governing board.
In a LinkedIn post, it said the following professionals have been added as new governors effective July 1, 2024, for a three-year term:
- Michelle Hogan RN, BScN, COHN(C), CRSP, Director Occupational Health and Wellness, University of Guelph
- Darrel Nickerson , BBA, MS, CRSP, Director Health & Safety, Irving Forest Services
- Bill Reid CRSP Vice President Health, Safety & Security, The Shaw Group Limited
Also joining for a 1-year term commencing July 1, 2024 is Alex MacDonald, Vice Chair of the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo (RNSIT) in the position of public member, it said.
These new governors join the executive team consisting of:
- Paul Belair, BASc, MBA, CRSP, Chair
- Larry Masotti, MA, CRSP, Vice Chair
- David Larson, CSP, CFPS, ARM, CRSP, Treasurer
- Natalie Carscadden, BSc, CRSP, CCPE, Secretary
- and returning Governors
- Rebecca Chow, BSc, CDMP, CRSP
- Christine Cousins, MSc, C.Chem., CRST, PMP
- Phillip Johnson, MBA, CRSP
