Bunzl Canada has earned Great Place to Work certification across all its Canadian businesses for 2025, marking the company’s third consecutive year receiving the recognition.
The certification is based on the Trust Index Employee Survey, which measures employee feedback on workplace culture, leadership trust and team dynamics. This year’s achievement expands on Bunzl Canada’s 2024 certification across Canada and its 2023 certification for its cleaning and hygiene business.
“We’ve worked hard to create a work environment where everyone feels valued and connected to our mission of delivering exceptional service and value to our customers,” said John Howlett, president of Bunzl Canada. “Achieving certification across all our Canadian businesses is a testament to the dedication and passion of our people.”
President ziplines to celebrate employee participation
Howlett ziplined down the Niagara Gorge to thank employees for their 91 per cent participation rate in the employee survey. The gesture reflects the company’s emphasis on employee feedback and engagement, according to the company.
Bunzl Canada’s approach includes investments in talent development, health and wellness, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. The company operates the BUNZL FOR BETTER program, which supports environmental initiatives and community causes across Canada.
Focus on workplace culture and employee development
The Burlington, Ont.-based company has introduced new employee communication and training programs to support its workplace culture goals.

The company has updated its branding to feature the Great Place to Work logo on its websites and email signatures.
