Desjardins named one of Canada’s top employers for 2026

Desjardins Group has been recognized as one of Canada’s top employers by Forbes and Mediacorp in 2026, continuing a decade-long trend of workplace awards for the Montreal-based financial cooperative.

The company received multiple employer recognition awards this year, including Canada’s Top Employers and Canada’s Top Employers for Young People from Mediacorp. Desjardins also earned Platinum parity certification from Women in Governance for the fourth consecutive year.

“This recognition confirms that our vision and actions reinforce our ability to grow as a people-focused and high-performance organization,” said Denis Dubois, president and CEO of Desjardins.

Recognition highlights workplace culture

The awards recognize Desjardins’ workplace practices and corporate culture. The company has received top employer recognition from Mediacorp for over a decade.

The Platinum parity certification acknowledges the organization’s commitment to gender parity and inclusion in its workforce.
