Heidrick & Struggles International has launched Heidrick Immersive, an artificial intelligence-enhanced platform that places leaders in simulated high-pressure scenarios to assess how they make decisions in real time.
The platform uses AI-enabled simulations of strategic inflection points — such as market shifts, technological disruption, and critical stakeholder decisions — to observe leadership behaviour as it unfolds, rather than relying on self-reported responses or past track records.
“Today’s leaders must navigate constant disruption, shifting stakeholder expectations, and accelerating technological change,” said David Peck, partner and global leader of the High-Impact Leadership Centre of Excellence at Heidrick & Struggles.
“By integrating AI-driven simulation and personalized feedback into our advisory offering, we’re advancing how organizations understand agility in leadership through science and human insights in tandem with AI.”
How the platform works
Heidrick Immersive generates what the company calls a “decision imprint” — an observable pattern of how a leader’s judgment holds under pressure and how their assumptions shift as conditions change. The company says the platform uses behavioural science and advanced behavioural analysis to translate simulated responses into actionable insights.
The assessment covers decision-making, adaptability, resilience, and team dynamics. The company says the process can be completed in minutes rather than days.
Peck said the platform is designed to help organizations develop two qualities in particular.
“We’re excited to bring Heidrick Immersive to life and help organizations cultivate two essential CEO qualities: agility and resilience. As organizations navigate increasing complexity and disruption, the ability to adapt quickly and lead through uncertainty has never been more critical.”
Conference debut
Heidrick & Struggles is showcasing the platform at the Transform Conference, where live demonstrations are taking place in Meeting Room Epernay 2. The demonstrations allow attendees to explore how the simulations can surface leadership behaviours that traditional assessments may not capture.
Heidrick & Struggles, headquartered in Chicago, has operated in the executive leadership advisory space for more than 70 years.
