Jennifer Carras named director of people and culture at Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia

Jennifer Carras has been hired as the director of people and culture at the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia.

“Jennifer’s expertise will be instrumental in helping us achieve our mission and uphold our values. We can’t wait to see the positive impact she will have on our team and community,” the association said in a LinkedIn post. “Join us in giving her a warm welcome!”

Prior to taking on this role, Carras was the regional HR director, Canada, for New Castle Hotels and Resorts. Previous roles include director of human resources at The Westin Nova Scotian, HR & Quality Manager at Spectrum Primary Care, and human resources co-ordinator at Nature’s Way Canada.

She holds a B.A. in English Literature from University of King’s College and an advanced diploma in human resources management from Nova Scotia Community College.
