Employers in Greater Montréal are prioritizing workplace community and a positive culture to retain talent, according to the latest list of Montréal’s Top Employers for 2025 announced today by Mediacorp Canada Inc.
The list highlights employers across diverse sectors, including technology, aerospace, finance, consumer goods, and transportation, reflecting Montréal’s broad economic landscape. The selection emphasizes companies that successfully blend traditional workplace benefits with innovative, community-building initiatives.
“The presence of employers from so many different industries and sectors has a positive impact on the kinds of benefits and forward-thinking attitudes we see,” said Richard Yerema, executive editor at Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. “There’s cross-pollination between economic sectors, from fashion to finance, combining the strongest elements of traditional benefits with more dynamic offerings.”
Employers recognized this year have demonstrated strong commitments to creating inclusive environments, where employees feel comfortable contributing ideas openly.
“Employees have to trust that their ideas will be well received by colleagues and respected,” said Kristina Leung, managing editor at Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. “The employers on this year’s list recognize that fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture encourages employees to share ideas, ensuring organizations keep advancing.”
Mediacorp Canada evaluated participating employers using eight criteria: workplace; work atmosphere and social activities; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
The Montréal’s Top Employers initiative, launched in 2006, annually recognizes leading employers in the Greater Montréal area.
