Newfoundland and Labrador is accepting applications for a program that connects Employment Insurance-eligible individuals with community-based work experience opportunities.
The Job Creation Partnerships program funds not-for-profit organizations to create projects that help EI recipients build skills and improve their chances of finding long-term employment. The application deadline is June 12, 2026.
Eligible applicants are not-for-profit organizations that can design and deliver community-based projects. The provincial government encourages applicants to review program guidelines before submitting. Applications must be submitted online.
Funding comes through the Canada–Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Market Development Agreement, a cost-sharing arrangement between the federal and provincial governments.
Organizations that need assistance with their application can contact the province’s Employment Programs office by email or phone, or visit an Employment Centre in person.
