Renault Group appoints Bruno Laforge as chief human resources officer

by HR News Canada

Renault Group has named Bruno Laforge as its next chief human resources officer, effective April 1, 2025. Laforge, who currently holds the same role at Capgemini, will succeed François Roger and report directly to CEO Luca de Meo.

Laforge brings decades of HR leadership experience across technology, pharmaceuticals, energy, and automotive sectors. His background includes senior HR positions at Sanofi and Capgemini, where he has led workforce transformation initiatives in rapidly evolving industries.

De Meo said Laforge’s expertise in talent management and business transformation will be key to Renault’s ongoing restructuring efforts. “I now look forward to working closely with Bruno as he continues and accelerates the global transformation of our company in the context of profound change in the industry,” de Meo said.

Renault Group, which employs more than 105,000 people globally, has been undergoing a major shift toward electrification and sustainability. The company has set a target of achieving carbon neutrality in Europe by 2040.

Roger, who has served as chief human resources officer since 2018, will step down from the role when Laforge assumes the position.
