Staffbase has introduced an upgraded email solution aimed at improving how businesses communicate with employees. Dubbed “The New Staffbase Email,” the platform incorporates AI-powered content creation, advanced analytics, and global management tools to help organizations create personalized and engaging messages.
The launch comes as email continues to play a pivotal role in workplace communication, despite the rise of newer digital tools. According to the Employee Communications Impact Study by USC Annenberg and Staffbase, 52% of employees consider management emails one of their preferred methods for receiving company updates, and 91% view such emails as credible sources of information.
“Email remains a reliable and universal channel for organizations and a critical part of the broader communication stack,” said David Maffei, senior vice president and general manager of Staffbase – Americas. He added that the platform is designed to make employee communications “more impactful and actionable.”
Staffbase says the new platform is tailored to meet the evolving needs of organizations, particularly those managing large, global teams. Features include a drag-and-drop editor for creating visually engaging emails without design expertise, multi-language support, and integration with Staffbase Studio, which offers analytics and centralized user management.
Other updates include AI-assisted tools to streamline content creation, advanced communication planning options such as editorial calendars and campaigns, and data-driven insights for evaluating engagement metrics like open rates and reading time.
To ensure reliability, the email platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure, a feature the company says enhances security and uptime.
The new platform builds on a foundation already used by major companies such as Rady Children’s Hospital, Sephora, Rite Aid, Daimler Trucks North America, and JBS. Staffbase says its tools are designed to help organizations craft communications that are clear, engaging, and relevant.
Headquartered in Chemnitz, Germany, and New York City, Staffbase provides a range of communication tools, including employee apps, intranet solutions, SMS, and Microsoft 365 integrations, all managed through a single platform.
