VCA Canada has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for 2026.

The veterinary care company, which operates more than 150 hospitals across six provinces, was selected for the annual award based on its programs for workers starting their careers.

The competition evaluates employers on initiatives that attract and retain younger workers, including tuition subsidies, mentorship programs and training opportunities.

VCA Canada was recognized for hands-on student opportunities and career advancement support through fully funded registered veterinary technician scholarships. The company also offers student loan RRSP matching and financial advisory services.

“This recognition is a proud reflection of the inspiring contributions of our teams across Canada,” said Cathy Gaviller, general manager of VCA Canada. “From coast to coast, our passion for nurturing young talent, encouraging growth, and creating an inclusive workplace truly motivates us in the spirit of mutuality and shared passion for this industry.”

VCA Canada joined the Mars Veterinary Health network in 2017. The company operates veterinary hospitals in six Canadian provinces.
