Vetting firm Vetty names Jason Putnam as CEO

by HR News Canada

Vetty, a hiring acceleration platform, has appointed Jason Putnam as its new CEO, the company announced Tuesday. Putnam steps into the role immediately, succeeding Reddy Karri, who will remain with the firm as an advisor.

Putnam brings more than 25 years of experience in HR and recruitment technology, having held senior leadership roles at companies including Plum and PandoLogic. His background includes guiding businesses through rapid growth and acquisitions, a track record that aligns with Vetty’s recent expansion. The company reported a 78 per cent year-over-year growth rate.

“Jason is the ideal leader for where Vetty is in its journey,” said Krishna Kunapuli, CEO and general partner at 3Lines Venture Capital, a Vetty investor. “His understanding of the industry and technology, combined with a deep knowledge of customers’ needs, will allow him to identify new opportunities quickly.”

Before joining Vetty, Putnam served as chief revenue officer at Plum, a talent assessment platform, and as senior vice-president and general manager at PandoLogic, where he helped drive a sixfold increase in its business pipeline and facilitated the company’s acquisition by Veritone.

Putnam said he sees significant potential in Vetty’s offerings and its role in the evolving hiring landscape.

“Having spent most of my career in HR and recruiting technology, I have watched its evolution firsthand,” he said. “What Vetty offers, from product sophistication to partnerships and integrations, makes this the perfect moment to expand its reach.”

Vetty provides screening, credentialing, hiring, and onboarding solutions for employers looking to streamline the hiring process.
