Workleap has added artificial intelligence features to its performance management software that automate goal-setting, review cycles and progress tracking for managers and HR teams.
The Montreal-based company announced the updates Oct. 20 to Workleap Performance, which serves more than 20,000 companies in over 100 countries. The new features connect goals, feedback and reviews into what the company calls a unified workflow.
“Performance management has been stuck in the past as slow, clunky and disconnected from how people actually work,” said Guillaume Roy, co-founder and chief product officer at Workleap. “Workleap Performance puts AI to work in a tangible way, creating a unified ecosystem where context, data and coaching all work together to help managers and employees make better decisions, faster and while keeping performance conversations human and continuous.”
Goal management
The updated system allows employees, managers and teams to set objectives that align with company priorities, according to the company. Users can track goals through measurable key results and receive automated status notifications.
The AI suggests goal improvements based on role, level and past performance. Team dashboards give managers a view of individual and group performance in real time.
AI-powered reviews
The review system connects HR strategy with work data from tools including Slack, Confluence, Jira and SharePoint, according to Workleap. The AI transforms company values, goals and feedback styles into performance frameworks.
Reviews combine self-assessments, manager input and organizational values. The AI identifies achievements, growth opportunities and performance trends, and suggests draft responses that managers can edit.
The company extended AI access beyond managers to all users. Employees can reflect on their achievements while peers offer feedback.
Progress tracking
The system offers real-time tracking and calibration tools for managers and HR leaders. Users can monitor performance across teams, view rating distributions and compare results across groups.
Complete review histories provide transparency for decision-making, according to the company.
Workleap was founded in 2006 and operates two product lines: the Workleap Platform for HR and ShareGate for Microsoft 365 migration and governance.
