Ontario liquor delivery drivers can now complete mandatory training through EnRoute, a new online program launched by Ahoy Learning Management Systems and approved by the province’s alcohol regulator.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has approved EnRoute as a certification option for Licence to Deliver holders and their staff. The program is designed to help drivers meet provincial training requirements and deliver alcohol safely.

“As alcohol delivery becomes more common across Ontario, proper training is more important than ever,” said Marcus Acaster, co-founder of AhoyLMS, in a release Monday. “EnRoute offers a simple, affordable way for delivery drivers and businesses to stay compliant while keeping communities safe.”

The course, priced at $9.99 with a $7.99 recertification option, is fully online and mobile-friendly. Modules cover key topics such as verifying customer ID, spotting signs of intoxication, delivery refusal strategies, and safe delivery protocols.

AhoyLMS has experience with regulated training programs in Ontario, including its StoreServe course for liquor retail staff and CannabisTrainingCanada.ca for cannabis workers.

Founded in Canada, AhoyLMS specializes in compliance training that is accessible, low-cost and designed for mobile use.
