Hydro One Networks Inc. and the Society of United Professionals have reached a tentative collective agreement covering engineering, supervisory and professional employees across the company’s Ontario operations.
The agreement is subject to ratification by the union’s membership. If approved, the contract would take effect retroactively to Oct. 1, 2025.
The Society represents employees in engineering, supervisory and other professional roles at Hydro One. The number of workers covered by the agreement was not disclosed.
Hydro One is Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution provider, serving 1.5 million customers. The company employs 10,100 workers across the province.
Terms of the tentative agreement were not released.
