Kraken Robotics appoints Terra Penrose as chief people officer

Kraken Robotics Inc. has hired Terra Penrose as chief people officer, based at the company’s Nova Scotia location.

Penrose brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources across defense and aerospace, shipbuilding, municipal government, heavy equipment, oil and gas, and executive search sectors.

“Terra brings extensive experience shaping high performing teams and scaling structure and support systems to enable people to do their best work,” said Greg Reid, president and CEO of Kraken Robotics.

Career background

Penrose holds a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and began her career in talent acquisition with a focus on strategic sourcing. She has led the delivery of full-cycle HR programs throughout her career.

Most recently, she served as chief HR officer of Stelia Aerospace North America, an aerospace and defense manufacturing subsidiary of Airbus with operations in Nova Scotia and Quebec.
