The Society for Human Resource Management received a five-star rating in Newsweek’s America’s Top Online Learning Providers 2026 rankings for its business-focused education programs.

The annual Newsweek award recognizes organizations that deliver online learning experiences in categories including quality, accessibility and results. SHRM was evaluated on its professional development offerings for HR and business leaders.

“This recognition reflects the quality, rigor, and real-world impact of SHRM’s learning solutions,” said Nick Schacht, chief global development officer at SHRM. “We’re redefining how professionals learn and lead, equipping them with the insights and agility to drive meaningful change across workplaces worldwide.”

SHRM’s online learning options include eLearning courses, a People Manager Qualification program, virtual seminars and SHRM certification preparation materials, according to the organization.

The programs cover HR strategy, leadership and compliance topics. The courses are designed for professionals to access regardless of location or schedule.

SHRM has nearly 340,000 members in 180 countries. The organization describes itself as a professional association for HR practitioners and business leaders.
