Alimentation Couche-Tard has been named a Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) winner for the fourth consecutive year, recognizing its efforts in fostering employee engagement and workplace culture.
The global convenience and fuel retailer was one of several organizations recognized by Gallup, which assesses businesses worldwide on employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace effectiveness. Gallup’s annual study includes data from more than 3.3 million employees across 347 organizations in 90 countries.
Ina Strand, Couche-Tard’s chief people officer, said the company’s commitment to listening to employees and acting on feedback has been central to its workplace strategy.
“Our myVOICE employee engagement survey, conducted in partnership with Gallup, continues to be an invaluable tool in ensuring we listen to our colleagues, act on the insights we gain, and continue striving for improvement,” Strand said. “We are honored to be recognized once again.”
Couche-Tard President and CEO Alex Miller said the award reflects the company’s focus on maintaining a strong workplace culture.
“The continued recognition from Gallup, combined with team retention rates that outperform our industry segment, show that we are on the right track,” Miller said. “We will continue to build on this momentum, ensuring our workplace remains one where our team members can grow and thrive.”
Gallup CEO Jon Clifton said award recipients set the standard for engaged workplaces, which research has linked to higher productivity, profitability, and employee satisfaction.
