Patricia Warwick will join the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board as vice chair on Dec. 1, filling a vacancy left by Carol Kraft’s resignation at the end of October. Warwick’s appointment is for a five-year term.
Warwick brings 27 years of experience from the City of Saskatoon, where she served as city solicitor. She also worked as counsel at the federal Department of Justice, focusing on Aboriginal law litigation, and most recently held the position of senior counsel for SGI Auto Fund.
She earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan.
Minister welcomes appointment
“I am very pleased that Ms. Warwick has accepted the appointment to vice chair,” Deputy Premier and Labour Relations and Workplace Safety Minister Jim Reiter said. “Her leadership will advance our government’s goal of fair, safe workplaces that support a growing Saskatchewan economy. I also want to thank Ms. Kraft for the role she played on the Labour Relations Board providing leadership and adjudicating disputes.”
