The Newfoundland and Labrador government is accepting applications from employers for the 2026 Summer Employment Program for Students, with a deadline of Feb. 19.
The program provides funding to private sector businesses, non-profit organizations and municipalities to create summer employment opportunities for students.
Applications are being accepted earlier this year to allow for faster processing and approval ahead of student summer break periods, according to the province.
The program connects students with work opportunities across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Funding is partially provided through the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Workforce Development Agreement.
Employers can access program information and submit applications online. Those with questions can contact 1-800-563-6600 or [email protected].
