Diginex Limited has appointed Archana Kotecha as chief impact officer, the company announced Wednesday. The London-based provider of environmental, social and governance (ESG) and compliance solutions said Kotecha will lead its human rights and supply chain due diligence work.
Kotecha founded The Remedy Project, which Diginex acquired in January 2026. In her new role, she will work to translate the company’s sustainability, supply chain and compliance capabilities into integrated client solutions.
“Effective due diligence depends on practical systems, frontline insight and the ability to translate evolving regulatory expectations into meaningful day-to-day operations,” said Kotecha, chief impact officer of Diginex. “I look forward to partnering with clients to build credible and scalable approaches that strengthen worker protections while addressing commercial, regulatory and operational realities.”
A UK-qualified barrister and accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), Kotecha has nearly two decades of experience advising multinational corporations, institutional investors, governments, United Nations (UN) agencies and industry coalitions across Asia and other markets.
Background and recognition
Her expertise covers grievance mechanisms, investigations, remediation, worker engagement and governance frameworks. She has worked on the design of scalable grievance and remediation systems.
Kotecha holds several advisory roles tied to forced labour and human rights due diligence. These include:
- European Commission: member of the Informal Expert Group on Forced Labor
- Responsible Business Alliance: steering committee member of the Responsible Labor Initiative
- United Nations: alternative legal expert to the Intergovernmental Working Group on Business and Human Rights
She was named among the Financial Times’ Top Ten Innovative Lawyers in Asia Pacific in 2017.
“Archana’s appointment as Chief Impact Officer further strengthens Diginex’s ability to support clients as they navigate an increasingly complex sustainability and regulatory landscape,” said Lubomila Jordanova, CEO of Diginex. “Her deep expertise in human rights, and supply chain due diligence is directly aligned with our ambition to expand Diginex’s global impact and compliance capabilities. Under her leadership, we are better positioned to ensure client engagements translate into decisions, action and measurable outcomes.”
Market context
According to research firm Dataintelo, the global market for human rights and supply chain due diligence reached $3.8 billion US in 2025. The firm projects the market will grow to $9.6 billion US by 2034, driven by tighter regulation, increased investor scrutiny and demand for responsible sourcing.
Kotecha will lead a three-part masterclass series beginning June 2, 2026, aimed at legal, compliance, sustainability and procurement leaders.
