St. Joseph’s at Fleming, a long-term care home in Peterborough, Ont., has selected LGI Workforce Pro to replace manual scheduling processes and modernize workforce management across its long-term care operations.

The organization had been operating without a formal scheduling system before choosing the cloud-based platform, which includes scheduling and time and attendance modules.

System selection

St. Joseph’s at Fleming evaluated multiple providers before selecting LGI Workforce Pro, prioritizing an integrated workforce management solution designed for long-term care settings.

“We were looking for a true one-stop solution that understands the realities of long-term care,” said Nelson Ribeiro, CEO of St. Joseph’s at Fleming. “LGI Workforce Pro allows us to modernize our workforce processes without adding complexity.”

The platform combines HR, scheduling, time and attendance, and payroll-ready data in a single system.

Long-term care focus

Michel Desgagné, president and CEO of Montreal-based LGI Healthcare Solutions, said the platform addresses workforce challenges specific to long-term care, including unionized environments and last-minute staffing changes.

“St. Joseph’s at Fleming is leveraging a platform proven across the long-term care sector to reduce administrative burden and better support both staff and residents,” Desgagné said.
