Visier has launched a new suite of AI-driven tools aimed at helping companies address what it describes as a “Business Performance Erosion Crisis.” The initiative, called “Workforce AI Edge,” is designed to provide organizations with critical insights to navigate challenges such as stagnant productivity, declining employee engagement, and a persistent talent shortage.

Visier’s CEO and co-founder, Ryan Wong, framed the situation as a critical juncture for businesses.

“This is nothing short of a survival issue for companies of all sizes,” Wong said, underscoring the urgency for companies to adapt. He argued that embracing AI could unlock stalled productivity and address talent gaps, but acknowledged that it also presents new challenges. “For most companies, it will mean navigating through the greatest workforce disruption in over 100 years,” Wong added.

The company’s AI tools are designed to help businesses better understand their workforce by unifying and analyzing employee and productivity data. This technology allows managers and executives to answer crucial questions about their operations, such as which employees are most productive, which roles could be automated, and how compensation strategies can be adjusted to improve fairness and business outcomes. The aim is to empower leaders with real-time data to make informed decisions during a period of significant change.

Visier’s new offering comes at a time when many companies are struggling with multiple pressures. Productivity growth has stagnated, with wages rising without a corresponding increase in output—by some measures, the slowest growth in over four decades. Simultaneously, employee engagement has hit a low, with a recent Gallup survey indicating that 70% of workers are less than fully engaged at their jobs.

Adam Binnie, Visier’s Chief Innovation Officer, highlighted the critical role of AI during periods of disruption. “Visier is most powerful and impactful for our customers during times of change,” Binnie said. He pointed to AI as potentially the most significant workforce transformation in modern history, suggesting that companies equipped with Visier’s tools will be better positioned to manage this shift.

Visier is also expanding its network of partnerships to enhance its AI offerings. The company has teamed up with Deloitte to help businesses leverage AI insights for growth and adaptation. Marc Solow, managing director at Deloitte Consulting LLP, noted that while AI offers solutions, it also presents new challenges. “AI has the potential to be both a breakthrough solution to these challenges, as well as another massive challenge unto itself,” Solow said.

To further encourage innovation, Visier has launched the “Open for Builders” program, inviting customers and partners to develop customized solutions using its platform. This initiative aims to foster a community of innovators who can address specific industry challenges using AI.
