Borderless AI, a provider of Employer of Record (EOR) services, has announced a partnership with Nium, a company specializing in real-time cross-border payment solutions. This collaboration aims to address common inefficiencies in the EOR sector by improving the speed, efficiency, and transparency of global employment and payroll services.

Historically, the EOR process has been plagued by delays and administrative challenges, often complicating cross-border payments and affecting business operations. By integrating Nium’s advanced payment technology, Borderless AI plans to enhance its operational capabilities, allowing for quicker and more secure transactions. This will provide businesses the ability to manage international payroll and taxes more reliably and navigate the complexities of employing global teams.

Nium’s technology promises to enable immediate fund transfers across over 190 countries, thereby simplifying the financial aspects of global business operations. This includes payroll processing, tax obligations, and other financial transactions in up to 100 currencies, with real-time availability in 100 markets.

“Our collaboration with Nium represents a significant leap in delivering multi-country payroll and unmatched value to our customers,” explained Willson Cross, CEO of Borderless AI. “This partnership empowers businesses to manage their global workforce more effectively, ensuring timely and secure cross-border payments.”

Prajit Nanu, CEO and Co-founder of Nium, also commented on the partnership, highlighting the strategic integration of their payment solutions with Borderless AI’s expertise in global employment services. “We are excited to be a part of their journey, helping businesses overcome geographical barriers and fostering growth,” Nanu said.

In line with this new strategic direction, Borderless AI has also expanded its executive team. Rajesh Venkatesh, formerly of Nium, joins as Chief Payments Officer, bringing over a decade of experience in the payments sector. Umesh Maini, previously with Buckzy and Western Union, has been appointed as Chief Product Officer.

This alliance underscores both companies’ commitment to innovation in global employment solutions, aiming to facilitate smoother cross-border operations for businesses worldwide. For further details, both firms have invited interested parties to visit their respective websites.

Borderless AI, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, continues to leverage artificial intelligence through its Alberni platform, simplifying global HR processes from onboarding to payroll management. Nium maintains dual headquarters in San Francisco, USA, and Singapore, supporting a wide network of instant global payments.
