Jazz Aviation has been named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for the 14th consecutive year, an honour awarded by Mediacorp Canada Inc. to organizations with strong workplace diversity and inclusion programs.
The recognition highlights Jazz’s efforts to foster an inclusive environment for employees from underrepresented groups, including women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, Indigenous peoples, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
“Diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility are at the core of our workplace culture, and we remain committed to fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and supported,” said Doug Clarke, president of Jazz.
The regional airline, which operates Air Canada Express flights to 68 destinations across North America, has also been recognized for its commitment to Indigenous reconciliation and workplace safety. It received an Indigenous Reconciliation award from the federal government and an Award of Excellence in the public transportation category at Canada’s Safest Employers awards.
Canada’s Best Diversity Employers is an annual competition recognizing companies with effective diversity initiatives. Mediacorp evaluates employers based on programs supporting diverse hiring, employee resource groups, and inclusive workplace policies.
