Peoplesource Employment Group has acquired Greenlight Tech Staffing in a move aimed at strengthening its presence in the fast-evolving information technology sector, the Toronto-based staffing firm announced Tuesday.
The deal positions Peoplesource to better serve organizations in high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity and software development, said CEO John Nalli.
“The evolution of technology companies has generated a greater need for specialized solutions,” Nalli said. “Acquiring Greenlight Tech Staffing expands our ability to provide more services to organizations with an eye on enhancing market segments.”
Founded in 2003, Peoplesource uses proprietary technology to match vetted candidates with client staffing needs. The firm offers both short-term and full-time placements and works across multiple industry sectors.
Greenlight will continue to run as a standalone company focused on IT recruitment, said business partner Frank Cianciulli.
“We pride ourselves on being the most capable provider to both large-scope projects and small customized requisitions requiring white glove service,” he said.
The acquisition reflects broader changes in the tech industry, with companies seeking flexible and specialized staffing solutions to keep up with rapid innovation and growing demand for digital expertise.
