Montreal-based Tecsys Inc. has earned Great Place To Work certification across all four countries where it operates, with 92 per cent of employees worldwide rating the supply chain software company as a great workplace.
The certification covers the company’s operations in Canada, the United States, Denmark and India, marking the second consecutive year Tecsys has achieved the recognition based on direct employee feedback.
The employee satisfaction rate exceeds the U.S. Great Place To Work benchmark by 61 percentage points, with 78 per cent of the organization participating in the survey that determines certification status.
Strong employee engagement metrics
Survey results showed 96 per cent of employees felt welcomed when they joined the company, while 92 per cent believe colleagues care about each other. The same percentage said they are proud to tell others they work at Tecsys.
The positive workplace culture supports an average employee tenure of more than nine years, with over 10 per cent of staff marking 25 years or more with the company.
“Creating a great workplace starts with listening and trust. At Tecsys, we take action on what we hear and live our values — earning trust, building each other up, and exploring boldly,” said Nancy Cloutier, chief human resources officer at Tecsys. “That 92% of our team members say this is a great place to work is a powerful reflection of the culture we have built together.”
Certification requirements
Great Place To Work Certification requires companies to meet specific standards based on employee feedback about their workplace experience, particularly regarding trust levels within the organization.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Tecsys stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
