HR Path Group, a global player in human resources and digital transformation support, announced its acquisition of Toronto-based GroupeX Solutions, significantly bolstering its HRIS consulting capabilities across North America.

The merger, marking one of HR Path’s largest expansions in the region, strengthens its role as a provider of Human Capital Management solutions, it said. GroupeX, known for its partnerships with SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, WorkForce Software, and Dayforce, has been delivering expert services to major industry players for over two decades.

“Canada was one of the first markets we entered during our global expansion in 2011, and this acquisition reaffirms our commitment to North America,” said François Boulet, President of HR Path. He emphasized the strategic significance of the Canadian market and noted the acquisition of AvenueHR and InTalent as prior steps in reinforcing their North American operations.

Frédéric Van Bellinghen, Partner at HR Path, expressed enthusiasm about the integration: “We are excited to welcome the GroupeX team, whose expertise will be invaluable to our continued success.”

Theo Smith, Co-CEO and Founder of GroupeX, highlighted the alignment of the two companies’ visions. “Joining forces with HR Path allows us to extend our service offerings and enhance our capabilities globally,” Smith said.

Farhan Khan, also Co-CEO of GroupeX, added that the merger opens up new career opportunities for their team and expands their ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Founded in 2001 in Paris, HR Path has grown to a workforce of around 3,000 professionals across 22 countries, providing consultancy, integration, and operational services to over 3,000 clients. GroupeX brings a team of over 100 senior SAP consultants to HR Path, enhancing the company’s service portfolio across various regions including North America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
