BASF has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2026, marking the company’s 12th consecutive year on the national list. The recognition highlights workplace practices the company says support wellness, career development, and an inclusive culture across its Canadian operations.
Mediacorp, the competition’s organizer, evaluates employers on criteria that include benefits, workplace atmosphere, communication, training, and community involvement.
Programs supporting health and development
Mediacorp highlighted BASF’s commitment to wellness and growth, citing programs such as fitness reimbursements, tuition subsidies, coaching and mentorship, employee referral bonuses, and psychological and physical health benefits.

Community engagement and workplace culture
The company was also recognized for initiatives that connect employees and support community involvement. These include participation in Run for the Cure, volunteering at National Chemistry Week events at the Royal Ontario Museum, and nationwide tree-planting projects.
BASF said its continued focus on people has earned it several additional recognitions, including Top Employers for Young People (2025), Best Diversity Employer (2025), and Greater Canada’s Top Employers (2025).
