Global human resources consulting firm HR Path has acquired Inspire Human Resources, a U.S.-based advisory company known for providing flexible, senior-level HR expertise to organizations on a fractional basis.

The deal expands HR Path’s advisory services in North America, adding a firm that works with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups and nonprofits.

About the acquisition

Paris-based HR Path operates in 28 countries with more than 2,500 employees. The company offers advisory, technology implementation, and operational HR services. It was founded in 2001.

Inspire HR was founded in 2007 by Jaime Klein. The firm built its reputation around the fractional HR model, which gives organizations access to experienced HR professionals on an interim or project basis without hiring full-time staff.

“The acquisition of Inspire HR marks an important milestone in strengthening our Advisory capabilities in North America, a region that is central to our global growth strategy,” said François Boulet, chief executive officer and co-founder of HR Path. “Inspire HR’s exceptional team brings deep expertise across all HR functions, enabling us to better support organizations as they evolve their culture, talent strategies, and people experience.”

Fractional HR model

The fractional model allows companies to bring in senior HR talent for specific projects or time periods. Inspire HR offers interim, project-based, and advisory solutions across what it describes as every major HR discipline.

Klein said the timing reflects growing demand for flexible HR resources. “In an era of rapid change, organizations need flexible HR talent more than ever,” she said. “We’re excited to join HR Path to serve more organizations as their trusted advisor and go-to fractional HR partner.”

HR Path says the acquisition strengthens what it calls its Advisory pillar, which focuses on helping organizations with people, culture, and organizational change — not just HR technology decisions.
