Workera has launched a new initiative to offer free skill assessments to individuals, enabling them to verify and benchmark their abilities across various AI domains.

Previously exclusive to enterprise clients and government organizations, these assessments are now accessible to a wider audience, including professionals looking to enhance their expertise in fields such as deep learning, generative AI, and MLOps, it said in a press release.

“Benchmarking and taking assessments empower people to set goals, improve their skills, and measure themselves against the best in the industry,” said Kian Katanforoosh, CEO of Workera. “By starting with an assessment, individuals can understand how they stack up against their peers and identify skill gaps, leading to a uniquely tailored learning path.”

Workera’s assessments cover over ten sought-after AI domains, including machine learning, digital literacy, ChatGPT, business analytics, and data science processes. The platform uses a precise 300-point scale to categorize users as Beginner (1-100), Developing (101-200), or Accomplished (201-300). This system helps users identify their current skill level and determine the next steps in their learning journey.

In 2024, the GenAI assessment has been updated monthly to reflect the latest advancements in AI, ensuring users remain focused on current skills. The free skill assessment experience also includes standardized skill measurement data and the ability to share achievements on LinkedIn.

Workera’s internal data indicates that the platform can boost generative AI proficiency by 240%, addressing the rising demand for advanced AI skills. The assessments aim to help organizations accelerate upskilling by more than five times, keeping skills relevant in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Leading organizations such as Accenture, Siemens Energy, and the U.S. Air Force already use Workera to enhance their workforce capabilities. The platform’s skills engine can verify proficiency in over 10,000 domains, including artificial intelligence, deep learning, and cloud computing.
