Employment Hero has appointed Chris Pinkerton as managing director for Canada, tasking him with leading the company’s growth strategy and market expansion in the country.
Pinkerton will oversee Employment Hero’s Canadian business, including its efforts to help small and medium-sized businesses manage employment, payroll, human resources, and workforce management through the company’s artificial intelligence-powered platform.
“Canadian businesses are being asked to do more with less while navigating economic uncertainty, changing workforce expectations and increasing operational complexity,” Pinkerton said. “Employment Hero is helping employers simplify the way they hire, manage and pay their people, giving them more time to focus on what matters most.”
Background and experience
Pinkerton brings more than two decades of experience helping technology companies scale and enter new markets. He most recently served as chief growth officer at Flybits, where he led expansion across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Before Flybits, he held senior roles at Clearco and GetintheLoop. He currently serves as chair of Accelerate Okanagan, a technology accelerator based in British Columbia.
