A Brisbane-based payroll compliance firm that has completed more than 530 projects across Australia and New Zealand is joining international HR consulting company HR Path.
Payroll Experts Australia, founded in 2009, has worked with more than 260 organizations in the two countries. The firm handles payroll compliance and audits, remediation, payroll processing, workforce management and HR systems implementation. It also interprets the awards and enterprise agreements that set pay and working conditions for many Australian employees. The company is not tied to any software vendor.

The business will continue to operate as “Payroll Experts Australia, an HR Path Company.” Its leadership team and employees will stay in their current roles, according to HR Path. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal adds payroll compliance and operational support to HR Path’s existing work in human resources information systems (HRIS) and SAP SuccessFactors in Australia and New Zealand, the company said. The combined organization plans to offer services ranging from strategic advice and systems implementation to payroll compliance.

Paris-based HR Path has been active in Australia since 2019, when it acquired DDG. It opened an Australian office in 2024 and bought RKM Consulting in 2025, adding HRIS and SAP SuccessFactors capacity in Australia and New Zealand.
