Kim Mayes has been appointed senior vice-president and chief people officer at PRIDE Industries, taking over the company’s human resources function as the organization looks to grow its workforce and expand employee engagement efforts.
Mayes joins the Roseville, Calif.-based company after a career that included senior leadership roles at Intel Corporation, where she served as vice-president of human resources and worked on talent and inclusion initiatives across the company’s global workforce. PRIDE Industries is the largest U.S. employer of people with disabilities.

In her new role, Mayes will lead strategies aimed at strengthening the company’s workplace culture while supporting its mission of creating jobs for people with disabilities and others who face barriers to employment. Her background spans talent management, leadership development, organizational transformation, employee relations and workforce development.
