Hiring managers can now start a job requisition by speaking, get guidance from an AI assistant and see live market rates before deciding how to fill a role, under new features added to Kelly’s Sevayo workforce technology platform.

The workforce solutions provider, based in Troy, Mich., announced the enhancements Oct. 29. They include a generative AI assistant, voice-enabled requisition intake and benchmark rate data built directly into the requisition process.

“Workforce outcomes are largely determined at the requisition, when a hiring manager decides what to buy, from whom, and at what rate,” said Alan Stukalsky, chief product and technology officer at Kelly. “Sevayo’s AI-powered capabilities give hiring managers the guidance, data, and support they need in that moment, so the right decision is also the easiest one.”

Sevayo links an employer’s existing systems with outside talent channels, including contingent staffing, services procurement, freelance talent and direct sourcing. It pulls together data from vendor management systems (VMS), applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS) so organizations can see their full picture of talent, activity and spend, according to the company.

With the new AI assistant, hiring managers can ask questions in plain language and receive guidance as they assess what they need and which workforce options fit. The voice feature lets them begin a requisition by speaking rather than filling out forms. Market benchmarks and rate information now appear in the workflow at the point of requisition.

The platform is designed to send each talent request to the appropriate channel and apply governance and compliance controls before a requisition is placed, the company said. It also offers talent market predictions and scenario modelling to help organizations weigh options based on cost, compliance and speed, along with real-time labour market data to inform pay rates and skills-gap planning.

Sevayo also aligns data from managed service provider (MSP) and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) programs. It provides performance insights across both contingent and full-time hiring, with dashboards that track supplier activity and workforce spend, according to Kelly.

The enhancements follow Kelly’s move to bring its Helix, Helix UX and Sevayo Insights tools together under the Sevayo name. The company said the combined platform will serve as the foundation for future agentic automation across its programs as it builds out infrastructure and expands use cases.

“Clients are asking for unified, strategic solutions that cut across their entire workforce,” said Stukalsky. “Sevayo is the foundation of our workforce programs, so intelligence is built into everything we deliver, not bolted on afterward.”

Kelly places more than 375,000 job seekers in new roles each year in fields including science, engineering, technology, education and manufacturing, according to the company.
