UKG has earned the Global Payroll Supplier of the Year Award from the Global Payroll Alliance for the second straight year, recognizing the company’s efforts to help multinational organizations streamline their payroll operations across multiple countries.
The Lowell, Mass.-based HR and payroll solutions provider received the industry’s top honour for its UKG One View solution, which provides a unified approach to managing payroll data across more than 160 countries, 120 currencies and 20 languages.
Solution addresses multi-country payroll challenges
The UKG One View platform connects payroll data from various in-country providers into a single system, allowing organizations to manage their global payroll operations from one interface. The solution offers real-time data access for reporting and decision-making while maintaining compliance across different jurisdictions.
“UKG One View is a game changer for the industry,” said Eric Sweet, director HRIS at Rollins, a global pest control and wildlife management company with 20,000 employees worldwide. “Having the opportunity to bring our teammates across the globe into one system that everyone has access to will allow us to leverage the full power of our UKG suite to not only give our employees better visibility into their pay but help us scale our growth internationally.”
The solution works as a standalone multi-country payroll system or integrates with UKG’s broader workforce management suites, including UKG Pro Workforce Management and UKG Ready.
Companies seek better global payroll visibility
For multinational companies, accessing and reporting on global payroll data remains a significant operational challenge. The fragmented nature of managing payroll across different countries often creates data silos that limit visibility for executives and HR teams.
“Having access to data globally is important for any multi-national company, and being able to accurately report on that data is hugely important for everyone — from the people who run our payroll to our senior leadership team,” said Sara Horvath, chief legal and human resources officer at Ranpak, a global sustainable packaging manufacturer. “With UKG One View, we’re able to harmonize our processes, giving us enterprise-wide visibility, so we always know what is happening in each of the countries where we operate.”
Award recognizes industry innovation
The Global Payroll Alliance’s annual award recognizes organizations that develop technology solutions to help global payroll teams work more efficiently and support their companies’ strategic goals. The recognition also considers how well solutions improve the payroll experience for employees.
“Global organizations face many challenges when operating in multiple countries, including lack of data access and transparency, that help inform strategic business decisions,” said Richard Limpkin, vice president of multi-country payroll at UKG. “UKG One View customers are benefiting from our entirely new, AI-powered approach to make data-driven decisions in real-time, mitigate their compliance risk, and ensure their people are paid properly, no matter where in the world they work. This is why we’ve seen such exciting growth in our One View business over the last year. This recognition by the GPA, for the second year in a row, demonstrates just how significantly we are transforming the global payroll landscape.”
UKG serves more than 80,000 organizations across various industries and geographic regions with its cloud-based HR, payroll and workforce management solutions.
